Respect and Recognition
Wollombi was a significant ceremonial meeting place for coastal Aboriginal peoples.
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land upon which Lowman Retreat now sits and this beautiful region we traverse; the Awabakal people to the East, the Wannaruah people to the Northwest and the Darkinjung people to the South.
We pay respect to the Elders past and present of the Awabakal, Wannaruah and Darkinjung nations and extend that respect to other Indigenous people within the Wollombi Valley community.
